Valpolicella Classico Superiore

The Pergola vines have an average age of 25-30 years, the vines farmed with the Guyot system of 2500 plants per hectare are 8-10 years old.

The harvest is done by hand with strict selection of the grapes during the best stage of maturation between September and middle of October. After the process of cold maceration is ended we start the vinification. It will do 2 steps in oak barrels for 8-10 months and a final aging in bottle of 3 months before it is released.

Ruby red color not excessively intense, intense sent of mature red fruits recalling cherry and mature marasca.
